คนพวกหนึ่ง
ทำบุญแล้วอธิฐาน ชาติหน้าขอไม่มีคู่
คนพวกนี้ แม้ตายแล้วไปเกิดเป็นเทวดา หรือมนุษย์ ก็
จะมีจิตน้อมไปในเนกขัมมะ ไม่มีความยินที่จะมีคู่
หรืออำนาจแรงอธิฐานมีกำลังน้อย
อยากมีคู่เท่าไร ก็ไม่สมหวังได้
มีเท่าไรก็เลิกๆ อยู่กันไม่ได้เพราะร้อน
พวกนี้เหมาะไปในทางปฏิบัติธรรม
และคนอีกกลุ่มหนึ่งบุญไม่ทำศีลไม่เคยรักษา อธิฐานชาติหน้าข
อไม่มีคู่
ตายแล้วบังเกิดเป็นสัตว์เดรัจฉานนะ ก็ไม่มีสัตว์ตัวใดที่จะร่วมเพศด
้วย
และอีกกลุ่มหนึ่ง
คือคนที่สั่งสมบารมี เพื่อการหลุดพ้นมามาก
ชาติสุดท้ายจะครองเรือนไม่ได้เลย
คือทำบุญครั้งใด ก็อธิฐานขอให้เป็นไปเพื่อหลุดพ้น
จนบารมีเต็ม
เหมือนพระพุทธเจ้า ท่านทำบุญครั้งใดก็อธิฐาน ให้
ได้โพธิญาณ ทุกครั้ง
คนจำพวกนี้ชาติสุดท้าย
แม้จะสามารถครองเรือน ดูแลครอบครัวได้ดี
ก็มีเหตุให้ต้อง เลิกลากัน
เหมือนหลวงปูขาว อนาลโย
ท่านเป็นพ่อบ้านที่ดีมาก
เพื่อนมิตรสหายรอบตัวก็มีแต่คนดีๆจำนวน
แต่เมียก็ไปแอบมีผัวน้อย
จนท่านต้องขอลา
แล้วออกบวช บวชอยู่วัดบ้านถึง ๖พรรษา จึงขอออกปฏิบัติ
กรรมฐาน ตามหาหลวงปู่มั่น
พอไปเจอพระอาจารย์มั่น
พระอาจารย์มั่นถึงกับพูดว่า
"ท่านขาวนี่ ควรจะบรรลุธรรมในสมัยพุทธกาลแล้ว"
หลวงปู่ขาวท่านเล่าไว้ว่า
ชาติที่เกิดทันพระพุทธเจ้า ท่านได้ไปเขากลุ่มกับพระเทวทัต
แล้วมีพระสารีบุตรและพระโมคคัลลา ไปเทศจึงได้กลับ
มาหาพระพุทธเจ้า
จนในที่สุดท่านก็บรรลุธรรมขั้นสูง(อรหัตผล) เป็นพระอริยะเจ้
าองค์หนึ่ง
และอีกหลายท่าน แม้จะมีคุณสมบัติสามารถครองเรือนได้
เป็นอย่างดีได้ แต่ไม่ได้ครองเรือน
เช่น นางอุบลวรรณา ลูกเศรษฐีที่สวยงามมาก สีผิวเหมือนดอกบ
ัวอุบล
หรือดั่งเช่น พระสารีบุตร
และพระโมคคัลลานะ
แม้จะมีคุณสมบัติเพรียบพร้อมในการครองเรือน แต่ก็ไม่เลือกครอง
และอีกหลายท่านที่มีบันทึกในคัมภี
ดังนั้น ถ้าคนที่ไม่สมหวังเรื่องคู่ เป็นเพราะคำอธิฐ
านที่เคยลั่นวาจาไว้ในชาติก่อนหนหลังก็มี
คนกลุ่มนี้เหมาะไปในทางปฏิบัติธรรม
